End Time

There is not a lot of loot in this instance for feral druids. All the armour is a side-grade from items available for Valor points currently, but the trinket might be a good one for kitties.

Gloves of the Hollow (+212 hit rating, +156 haste rating, 1 yellow socket and a +10 Agility socket bonus) is a shared drop from all bosses except the last one. It is not as good as the drop from Shannox,  Gloves of Dissolving Smoke, because of the socket bonus and better itemization for tanks. Clutches of Evil is also better, because of the red socket and not having to sacrifice 20 agility in the gem to get the socket bonus. The crafted gloves will be prohibitively expensive compared to the dungeon drop though. The tier 12 gloves, Obsidian Arborweave Grips, are pretty much equivalent to the new ones but the set bonus would make the tier gloves more desirable. The option to purchase these with Justice points in 4.3 is still a good one.

Cloak of the Banshee Queen (+129 critical strike rating, +165 haste rating) drops from Echo of Sylvanas and is equivalent to the Avengers of Hyjal reputation reward Sleek Flamewrath Cloak. Dreadfire Drape is a drop from Lord Ryolith in Firelands and is superior because of the two red sockets.

Time Twisted Tunic (+268 haste rating, +233 mastery rating, 1 red socket, 1 yellow socket, +20 Agility socket bonus) drops from Murozond.
It is almost the same as the drop from Baleroc in Firelands, Breastplate of the Incendiary Soul apart from the fact that the Firelands drop has 2 red sockets. The tier 12 chestpiece, Obsidian Arborweave Raiment, is better if you need some expertise , but all three of these items are roughly equivalent.

Arrow of Time (+383 Agility, chance of 1149 haste for 20 seconds on melee or ranged hit) drops from Murozond as well. This item is far better for dps druids than tanks because of the haste proc.

Well of Eternity

This instance has some really solid gear. The helm and weapon are enough justification to farm it, since they are both have large itemization budgets and have been difficult (or expensive) to obtain up until now. Non-raiders will be particularly interested in this instance for the belt upgrade as well.

Peroth’arn’s Belt (+178 critical strike rating, +200 haste rating, 1 blue socket, +10 agility socket bonus) drops from Peroth’arn.
This item is equivalent to both the belts available from Firelands; Flamebinding Girdle and Riplimb’s Lost CollarRiplimb’s Lost Collar is probably best for tanks because of the expertise, but any of these items will do based on your preference in secondary statistics.

Puppet String Leggings (+213 hit rating, +271 critical strike rating, 1 red socket, 1 blur socket, +20 agility socket bonus) is dropped by Queen Azshara. Both Cinderweb Leggings from Firelands and the tier 12 piece, Obsidian Arborweave Legguards, are better for tanks with the large amounts of mastery but all three pieces are good for feral cats.

Helm of Thorns (+269 hit rating, +207 haste rating, 1 meta socket, 1 red socket, +30 haste rating socket bonus) drops from Mannoroth and Varo’then. In this case, both the  Hood of Rampant Disdain (drops from Ryolith in Firelands) and the tier 12 helm, Obsidian Arborweave Headpiece, are better because of the +30 Agility socket bonus they have. For non-raiders the two alternatives are not a real option so this helm is pretty good.

Thornwood Staff (+272 critical strike rating, +272 mastery rating) drops from the final bosses, Mannoroth and Varo’then. This weapon will be a decent upgrade from Ranseur of Hatred for tanks because of the crit and mastery. It is so similar to Fandral’s Flamescythe that people who have managed to obtain that will not be interested in the version from this instance, especially because of the cosmetic fire kitty.

Mannroth’s Signet (+154 critical strike rating, +148 mastery rating) also drops from Mannoroth and Varo’then and is equivalent to the Valor point reward, Splintered Brimstone Seal. For tanks the new ring will be an upgrade over Widow’s Kiss from Firelands.

Hour of Twilight

Boots of the Treacherous Path (+179 hit rating, +196 critical strike rating, 1 yellow socket, +10 agility socket bonus) drops from Arcurion, the first boss in the instance. These are solid boots that are great alternatives to the expensive Treads of the Craft or the hard to obtain (for non-raiders, or raiders who haven’t progressed to the end of Firelands) Sandals of Leaping Coals.

Veil of Darkness (+575 Stamina, chance of +1149 dodge rating for 20 seconds on melee attack) drops from Archbishop Benedictus, the final boss of the instance.
This is a great tanking trinket for those who prefer on-equip bonuses over on-use ones. Regardless, the alternatives in Firelands are either expensive (Scales of Life) or require a lot of raiding (Ancient Petrified Seed and Stay of Execution)

Desecrated Shoulderguards (+209 hit rating, +169 mastery rating, 1 red socket, +10 critical strike rating socket bonus) also drop from Archbishop Benedictus. They are better for tanks than the Shoulderpads of the Forgotten Gate which drop from Baleroc in Firelands (although the socket bonus difference makes this a little arguable) but not quite as strongly itemized as the tier 12 shoulders, Obsidian Arborweave Spaulders.

Summary

It’s really nice to see a full set of gear available from the new instances. This should really help to gear people up for the raid finder and the Dragon Soul raid. The only slots that do not have drops have good alternatives available by spending points (Flamebinder Bracers and Covenant of the Flame).
